Worship

Our worship services are the heart and soul of involvement in our church. Hosted in our sanctuary every Sunday morning at 11:00 am, worship offers us an opportunity to experience the love of God in real ways, learn more about the Bible, and reflect on who we are becoming.
Our services are primarily "traditional," with a choir - featuring an organ and piano - leading the congregation in both ancient and modern music. Dress ranges from casual to formal, with most opting for polo shirts or blouses. Childcare is provided for infants and toddlers, and preschoolers typically stay for the first portion of the service and Children's Sermon, (then are offered other age-appropriate opportunities before the sermon.)
Worship also includes opportunities for prayer, for giving, and for Scripture reading. The sermons at First Baptist are intended to be uplifting, challenging and inspiring - teachings that enlighten and strengthen faith. They are designed to be incredibly understandable... to engage everyone from the person on the street to the PhD., the 9-year-old as well as those in their 90s. We have them all... again, our church is diverse!
