Children

First Baptist Church of Forest City is committed to walking alongside children and their parents as they discover more about God, themselves, and the world around them through stories of the faith and caring relationships. Our ministries for children include weekly Sunday School and Worship, summer Vacation Bible School, TeamKID missions education, family field trips and other opportunities for fellowship, service, and faith formation.

Our Preschool ministry serves children from birth through kindergarten.

Sunday School 10:00am - 10:45am
Our children will grow in faith through captivating stories, fun activities, and loving relationships. We have two classes: infants, birth through 2 years of age, and preschool, ages 3-Kindergarten.
Nursery Worship Care 11:00 – 12:00
Nursery Worship Care is provided by loving adults for infants and preschool-aged children during morning worship.

Music for Babies & Preschoolers: Wednesdays 6:30pm
Care-givers gather with our youngest and join together for musical experiences. Through developmentally appropriate activities, babies and preschoolers interact with music and the world around them.

TeamKID provides faith formation and missions opportunities for children from birth - 6th grade.
Wednesdays 6:30 pm: TeamKID for grades 2-4

Our children's choirs meet on Wednesday evenings.
6:00 pm: Young Musicians Handbells for grades 4-6
6:30 pm: Music Makers Choir for grades K-1
7:00 pm: Young Musicians Choir for grades 2-6

Each summer children from our church and community are invited to attend Vacation Bible School (birth - 6th grade) and PASSPORTKids camp (3rd - 6th grade).
