Music Ministry

The purpose of our music ministry is to offer opportunities for worship leadership, training, and faith formation for all ages.
Opportunities are available in choirs, handbell choirs, soloists, and instrumentalists.
We strive to include music from a wide variety of styles and genres.

Babies & Preschoolers

Music for Babies & Preschoolers: Wednesdays 6:30pm
Care-givers gather with our youngest and join together for musical experiences. Through developmentally appropriate activities, babies and preschoolers interact with music and the world around them.

Children

Children’s Choirs
Music Makers Choir for grades K-1: Wednesdays 6:30pm
Young Musicians Choir for grades 2-6: Wednesdays 7:00pm
School-age children learn simple anthems that help them grow musically and spiritually. They also learn how to be worship leaders and sing in worship two or three times a year.
Young Musicians Handbells for grades 4-6: Wednesdays 6:00pm
Boys and girls in fourth through sixth grade are introduced to basic techniques of ringing and further develop their music reading skills. They ring in worship two or three times a year.

Youth

Youth Choir & Handbells: Sundays 5:00pm
This choir is made up of students from seventh though twelfth grade . They rehearse weekly and prepare more advanced choral music of a variety of styles lead in worship several times a year.
Youth also prepares handbell literature with more advanced music reading and handbell techniques. They ring in worship two or three times a year.

Adults

Sanctuary Choir: Wednesdays 7:30pm
These adults meet weekly and prepare to lead in Sunday worship as well as other congregational gatherings.
Sanctuary Handbells: Mondays 6:30pm
 This ensemble prepares advanced handbells literature with the goal of worship leadership.
